Jeleznitsa village is located north of Simitliyskata Valley. 3.5 kilometers from the municipal center city Simitli and 11 km from the district center Blagoevgrad.  To the North borfers the land of villages Moshtanets  andPokrovnik.  To the east crosses the Struma River near the village of Dolno Tserovo and adjoins the land of the village of Gorno Gradevo and Oranovo. History



Evidence of the distant past of Jeleznitsa are few. As an old village on average over the river Strymon (Struma) on its effect Thracian tribe Media.
