Kutlovitsa is a village situated in North-eastern Bulgaria. It is part of Alfatar Municipality, Silistra region.
The village is located about 37 km south from town of Silistra, 18 km south-east from town of Alfatar, 65 km north-east from town of Dobrich, 122 km in the same direction from town of Varna, 99 km south-east from town of Shumen and 155 km east from town of Ruse.
Its population is approximately 70 people.
Kutlovitsa is located in a valley in the eastern part of the Danube plain. Plain relief varying from 40 m to 200 m. The territory of the region is crossed by two dry river run-ways - the gullies of Kanagyola and Taban (they used to be river bottoms). The region around them characterizes with steep slopes. The climate is humid continental - cold winter and hot summer. The winter average temperature is about 11 C and the summer average one is about 25 C.
This is a small, well-developed and ecologically clean village. Electricity, water and telephone net are provided. There is a mayor, a church, a community centre, a pensioner's club and shops. Village of Alekovo (6 km away) comprises a primary school and the municipal town of Alfatar comprises a kindergarten. The nearest health services are in village of Alekovo and town of Alfatar.
Grain production is the main means of living of the population.
