Gaytantsi is a village in northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Vidin, District of Vidin .
It is situated 29 km south of the town of Vidin, 59 km northwest of Lom and 192 km in the same direction of Sofia city.
The village is situated near Archar river, 4 km from Danube river and 3 km away from the main road between the towns of Vidin and Montana. The climate is characterized by cold winters and hot, dry summers. The average altitude is 192 m.
Gaytantsi has a regular bus transport to the town of Vidin.
The population nimbers about 83 people.
The village has a fully built electricity, water supply systems and mobile coverage. The nearest school, kindergarten and hospital are located in the town of Vidin.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR TOURISM:
Dachovata dupka is a cave located in the end of the village.
Archar river and Danube river are suitable for fishing.
