Manole is a village in Southern Bulgaria, part of Municipality Maritsa, District of Plovdiv.

It stands about 18 km north-east from the town of Plovdiv and about 19 km away from the town of Rakovski.
The village population is about 3000 residents.

The relief is flat and hilly with average altitude of 133 m.
The climate in the region is continental, characterized with soft winters and dry warm summers.

The village is urbanized and with excellently settled infrastructure, including full electrification, water supply system, partial sewerage system, telephones, Internet and cable TV.

About 4 km away is Trakiya Motorway, and by the village there is a railway station on the route Plovdiv- Varna.

Available in the Manole are a town house, primary school, kindergarten, well-maintained stadium, community center with library, and church.

The medical care of the population is taken by a polyclinic with two GPs and a dentist. There are shops and restaurants.

Attractions

Stryama River runs close to the village. There’s plenty of fish in there, and the riverbanks surrounded by beautiful nature are suitable for walks and relaxation.

In the lands of the village of Manole the mound Maletepe, dated since Thracian times, and finds from the digs are in the Archeological museum in Plovdiv.

The closeness of Katunitsa to the town of Plovdiv and the Rodopi Mountains gives opportunities for mountain tourism, as well as for visiting historical attractions as the Old Town of Plovdiv, the Roman amphitheatre, Asen's Fortress and Bachkovo Monastery, Asen's Fortress and Bachkovo Monastery.
