Ravna Gora is a village in North-Eastern Bulgaria, part of Avren municipality, Varna Region. It is located 25 km south city of Varna, 22 km south-east of Avren village and 10 km west of the sea-coast.

Ravna Gora is a small village, situated near a forest. Its population numbers to approximately 230 people. the climate is temperate-continental, influenced by the proximity to the Black Sea - the summer is cool and the winter is mild with scanty snowfalls. The relief is flat. The former name of the village used to be Yasa Bash.

In the village there is a community center with a library, grocery shops, a guest house, a doctor's office, a cafe, a post office. The nearest school is in the village of Bliznatzi, some 10 km away from Ravna Gora. The houses built in 19th century, preserved in their original look being declared monuments of culture and the small river running through the village only add to the charm of the village. On the territory of Ravna Gora there is a large apple garden. A fish processing department operating in the village provides occupation for some of the local people.
The infrastructure is excellent - the roads are in a very good condition, electricity and water are supplied on a regular basis. A digital telephone exchange, satellite TV, internet, coverage of all mobile operators are available in the village. Regular bus transportation connects Ravna Gora to the city of Varna and the nearby villages. A solar park is being constructed on the territory of the village.

Due to its proximity to Varna and the beautiful natural resources, Ravna Gora has become an attractive destination for people seeking tranquillity and peacefulness away from the big city. As a result many brand new houses were built and many old houses were renovated in the village. The village benefits from the combination of a favourable climate and fertile soil which provide excellent conditions for vine-growing, fruit-growing and vegetable making - the traditional occupations of the locals.
Excellent  conditions for the development of rural, eco and hunting tourism are provided by the beautiful nature, the proximity to the Black Sea and the river of Kamchiya, the clear air, the authentic look of the village and the ecologically clean environment.
