Granit is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Bratya Daskalovi Municipality, Stara Zagora region.
Granit is located about 20 km southwest from the municipality center village of Bratya Daskalovi, about 20 km northwest from the town of Chirpan, 63 km southwest from the city of Stara Zagora and 182 km southeast from the city of Sofia. 8 km south from Granit passes highway "Trakia".
There is regular bus transport from the town of Chirpan.
The village is situated at an altitude of 171 meters. Terrain is mostly flat. About one kilometer west from the village runs a river "Tatar grove". In the land of Granit there are four small dams - "Granit", "Kazlaka", "Chirpan bunar", "Kotarak Fountain".
Winter is relatively rough with substantial snow cover compared to other regions of Stara Zagora. Summer is characterized by frequent and high heat.
Granit is a well-developed village - the streets are paved, there is coverage of mobile operators. The permanent population is about 680 inhabitants. There is town hall, school, kindergarten, community center with a gallery and a kindergarten, a few shops and two churches. The nearest hospital is located in the town of Chirpan.
